Jacqui and Clint

Jacqui Burfoot was originally matched with Ryan Donnelly, while Clint Rice was a late entrant and Lauren Hall’s second match, after her failed marriage with Eliot Donavan.

Clint had commented that he found Jacqui attractive, during the photo ranking challenge and, unsurprisingly this didn’t go down well with Lauren.

But it was clearly meant to be, as the pair arrived at the reunion together and announced that they’re dating. In April, Clint popped the question and asked Jacqui to marry him during a watch-along party for MAFSAU.

Nine Australia

Taking the mic from the party’s host, Clint said: “I wanted to have a conversation with Jacqui later, but since we’ve got a room full of new friends… for what you’ve done on-screen, you’re an absolute star and you’ve been a star in my life.”

“You’re amazing, and I know we signed up for MAFS to get married and find a life-long partner. So I’ve got one question for you,” he added as everyone in the room began to scream.
