Fan around the world are anticipating a stylish press tour to come out of The Devil Wears Prada 2, which is releasing on May 1. But for now, we’ve got its main star, Anne Hathaway, delivering one of the best fashion moments this year the 2026 Oscars.

On March 15, the actress 43, returned to the ceremony after a 12-year hiatus, dressed in a show-stopping floral Valentino gown that leaned into the iconic “Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking,” quote delivered by Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly 20 years ago.

Hathaway’s ensemble of course centered around her printed strapless mermaid gown, which also featured a train. She accessorized with long black gloves and a stunning display of Bulgari diamonds.

According to a press release from the brand, Hathaway, one of the jeweler’s brand ambassadors, wore the Neoclassical Starlight High Jewelry necklace boasting a rare 8.02 carat pear-cut Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond surrounded by a constellation nearly 100 pear, round and step-cut diamonds, bringing the total diamond weight to over 35 carats. It was crafted over 850 hours.

In addition to the neckpiece, Hathaway also sparkled in Bulgari’s Daphne’s Laurel earrings set with Fancy Intense Yellow diamonds and white diamonds, as well as two platinum rings set with yellow diamonds.

Her hair was styled in an elegant half-up style teamed with a peachy glam and shimmery lip.

Later in the night, Hathaway and Vogue icon Anna Wintour appeared onstage to present the awards for costume design and achievement in hair and makeup. The appearance was not without a skit inspired by Streep’s Priestly (who is widely understood to have been inspired by Wintour) and Hathaway’s Andrea Sachs.
