During a press conference held at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, the Artemis II crew officially announced the name of their Orion spacecraft as Integrity.
“As a crew, we felt it was important to give our spacecraft a meaningful name. Integrity represents the values we uphold and the spirit of exploration that drives us,” stated Commander Reid Wiseman.
The Artemis II mission aims to orbit the Moon with astronauts onboard, paving the way for future lunar landings and long-term human presence on the Moon’s surface. The naming of the spacecraft emphasizes the importance of teamwork and resilience in this historic journey.
