What does Avengers: Doomsday have in store for fans? This question, many will likely ask themselves until the release of the film, on December 16th. While four initial teasers have been revealed, the mystery remains intact regarding the plot of this fifth installment.

We do know that many actors will be returning to reprise their roles. Among them, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, and even Rebecca Romijn, the famous interpreter of Mystique in the first X-Men films. But don’t expect a festival of cameos.

This is what actor Lewis Pullman, who played Sentry in Thunderbolts, one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, announced in an interview with Esquire Magazine:

“This film returns to the very essence of the human archetypes that nourish our art. Each character has their moment of glory that contributes to shaping their personality. The Russo brothers have done a good job with this aspect. They don’t want anyone to be left out.“

He continues: “They are fully aware of the responsibility that their presence imposes on them, with the presence of some of the best actors in the world. We are witnessing many exciting encounters. Fans will be delighted. And what if A and B worked together? And what if B and D collaborated? Many fantasies will become reality.“
