The countdown is on: 38 days left to get Christmas presents. There will be technology under many Christmas trees: fitness trackers instead of wristwatches, e-readers instead of books. This can be convenient and practical – or a security risk: a number of gadgets come with an Internet connection and lure with allegedly smart functions, but collect masses of data and invade privacy.
