Is the 50H Battery Life on this Wireless Headset Real?
I’ve been eyeing this multi-platform wireless headset that claims to have a 50-hour battery life, which sounds awesome for long gaming or work sessions. I recently bought it thinking I’d get the advertised endurance, but after a few days of use, I’ve noticed the battery barely lasts 30 hours even with moderate use. I’ve checked the settings, turned off unnecessary features, but no luck.
Now I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong or if the battery life figures are just overly optimistic. Has anyone else tested this headset? Does the battery really last close to 50 hours, or is it more like 30-40? Should I consider returning it or is there a way to optimize the battery further?

Honestly, I’ve had the same experience. The specs say 50H, but I usually get around 35-40H max. Still good, but not quite what they advertise.

Did you try reducing the volume or turning off active noise cancellation? Those features can drain the battery faster.

I’ve used this headset for a few months. It does last around 45-50 hours if I keep it on low volume and disable all extras. Maybe your usage is heavier?

Chris, how do you disable all the extra features? Are you using the app or buttons?

Anna, I use the app to toggle noise canceling and check for updates. Also, I keep the brightness low on the UI if applicable.

I wonder if the battery life decreases over time with age. Have you tried a full charge cycle from zero? Sometimes that recalibrates the battery.

Good idea, David. I’ve had headphones where a full reset and charge cycle improved battery life significantly.

Would you guys recommend this headset overall? Even with the battery issues, is it worth it for the multi-platform support and sound quality?

For me, the sound quality is great and multi-platform support is a big plus. If battery life is a concern, maybe look into other options with proven endurance, but this one’s still pretty solid.
I think the battery life can vary a lot depending on usage and settings. Have you tried fully resetting or updating the firmware? Sometimes that helps.
Sarah, good point. I had a similar issue at first and updating firmware made a difference for me.
