Is the ASUS ROG Strix G16 (2024) with RTX 4070 worth it?
I recently got the ASUS ROG Strix G16 (2024) with the RTX 4070, and I’ve been excited to see how it performs for gaming. However, after some use, I noticed the fan noise is pretty loud during intense sessions, and I’m wondering if that’s normal for this model.
Also, I was expecting better battery life given the specs, but it drains pretty quickly when gaming unplugged. Should I keep it, or are there better options in this price range? Would love some honest opinions from anyone who owns this laptop or has experience with it.

Battery life is usually a compromise with high-end gaming laptops. I’d suggest carrying a charger if you plan to play for hours.

I own the previous model, and the noise level increased with the RTX 4070. Still, performance gains are worth it if you ask me.

Thermals are decent if you use a cooling pad. Without one, it does get hot, but performance stays stable.
Should I consider waiting for a new release or discount? The current price seems a bit high for me.
