Is the AULA T102 Gaming Keyboard & Mouse Worth It?

I recently bought the AULA T102 gaming keyboard and mouse combo after reading some reviews, but I’ve run into a few issues. The keyboard feels a bit rattly, and the keys sometimes register double presses, which is frustrating during gaming. The mouse is responsive but seems to skip occasionally when I move it quickly. I was excited about the features and RGB lighting, but now I wonder if I should have gone for a different brand. Has anyone here used this set long-term? Should I keep it or return it? Any advice on performance or alternatives would be appreciated.

I’ve had the same issues with double key presses on mine. Maybe try updating the firmware or checking the switch contacts.

John, interesting. I’ve been using mine for a few months without problems, maybe yours is defective.

I think the build quality isn’t the best. If you want durability, maybe look at brands like Corsair or Logitech.

The RGB lighting on mine is pretty good, but the key feel is just okay. Do you think it’s worth fixing or just replacing?

Emily, I’d say if the issues bother you during gameplay, it might be better to switch. Sometimes budget sets just don’t cut it.

Have you tried customizing the key sensitivity or DPI settings on the mouse? It might improve responsiveness.

I’ve used the T102 for a while. The mouse skip is usually due to low battery or driver issues. Check those first.

Tom, good point. I also think the software can be buggy sometimes. Reinstalling might help.

Honestly, I expected more from the tactile feel of the keyboard. It’s not as satisfying as more premium models.

Brian, same here. For gaming, I prefer mechanical switches, but this set is more for casual use.

If you’re on a budget, it’s decent, but don’t expect long-term durability. Maybe better to save up for something more solid.

Has anyone tried cleaning the keyboard? Sometimes dust or debris can cause double presses.

Rachel, I cleaned mine and it helped a bit, but the core issue still persists. Might be a hardware defect.
