Is the Skytech Azure 3 Ryzen 7 9700X Worth It?
I recently came across the Skytech Gaming Azure 3 with the Ryzen 7 9700X and started wondering if it’s a solid choice for gaming and streaming. I’ve been upgrading my setup and want something future-proof but also reliable. The specs look great on paper, but I haven’t seen much real-world feedback yet.
After reading some reviews, I still have questions about its performance in demanding titles and how it handles multitasking. I’m also curious about build quality and thermal management, since those are important for long-term use. Should I go ahead and get this PC, or are there better options out there at a similar price point?

I was considering this PC too. Has anyone upgraded the RAM or SSD? How easy is it to do yourself?

John, I upgraded my Azure 3 RAM to 32GB and it was straightforward. The case has easy access panels, and the motherboard is user-friendly for upgrades.

I’ve owned the Azure 3 Ryzen 7 9700X for a while. It’s solid, but I noticed the stock thermal paste isn’t great. Upgrading the cooler made a big difference.

Chris, good to know! Do you recommend any specific aftermarket coolers for this setup?

Anna, I went with a Noctua NH-U12S and it’s been whisper quiet and keeps temps down. Highly recommend.

Are there any known issues with the Skytech Azure 3 Ryzen 7 9700X? I’ve heard some people mention stability or BIOS problems.

David, mine has been pretty stable, no major issues so far. Just make sure to update the BIOS after buying.

How does this PC compare to similar builds from other brands? Is Skytech really worth it for the price?

James, I think Skytech offers good value, especially for prebuilt. The specs are competitive, but always check individual component reviews.

I’ve read some complaints about airflow in Skytech cases. Does anyone have experience with the Azure 3’s cooling performance?
.png)
Brian, I upgraded the case fans and temps improved. Out of the box, it’s okay, but add some extra fans for better airflow.

Is the 9700X still a good CPU in 2024? I thought newer chips might be better value.
.png)
Kevin, the 9700X is still quite capable for gaming and multitasking. If you’re on a budget, it’s a solid choice.

What about future upgrades? Can I easily add a newer GPU or more storage later?
.png)
Mark, yes, the Azure 3 has an open PCIe slot and extra drive bays, so upgrading GPU and storage is pretty straightforward.

Would you recommend this PC for someone who also does video editing and 3D rendering?
.png)
Tom, the Ryzen 7 9700X is decent for those tasks, but if you do heavy editing, consider a more recent CPU with more cores.

How noisy is the system under load? I prefer a quiet environment for work and gaming.

Paul, it can get a bit loud during intensive gaming, especially if you don’t upgrade the cooling. Upgrading fans helps.

Any advice on the best monitors to pair with this PC for gaming?
.png)
Josh, get a 144Hz or higher refresh rate monitor to take full advantage of the GPU. 1440p resolution also balances quality and performance.

Overall, would you say this PC offers good value for the price in 2024?

Steve, for the specs and performance, I’d say yes. Just plan on some upgrades over time for best results.
I've had the Azure 3 with Ryzen 7 9700X for about 3 months now. It handles gaming very well, even at high settings. The cooling system is decent, but I’d recommend upgrading the CPU cooler if you plan to overclock.
Mike, thanks for the insight! Do you think it’s good for streaming while gaming? I want a setup that can handle both smoothly.
Sarah, definitely! I’ve streamed using it without much lag, but make sure you have a good internet connection and maybe tweak some settings for optimal performance.
