In Escape from Tarkvo there are a lot of keyboard commands for your character. It’s almost like a flight simulator. For example, many keys and functions in Escape from Tarkov can only be reached by holding down the CTRL or ALT key. A great feature of Espace from Tarkov is that you can adjust many stepless with the mouse wheel. You can turn the mouse wheel to regulate your walking speed or while crouching to change the angle of how far you crouch.
I have summarized all key combinations for Escape from Tarkov that I found and use the same way here with a small explanation. Of course, all the combinations only work if you play with the standard keyboard layout of Escape form Tarkov. Of course, I cannot list my own changes to the keyboard shortcuts here.
Keyboard shortcuts for Escape form Tarkov
- Press O: Open console in game
- Quickly press V twice: Fast attack with the axe/knife even when holding a weapon
- Hold middle mouse button: Free look
- press O: Time display for escape
- Quickly press O twice: Display which outputs are open
- ALT + (WASD): move upper body
- Press Q: Lean to the left
- press E: Lean to the right
- ALT + Q or E: Take a step left or right
- Press N: night vision device
- press R: reload weapon
- Quickly press R twice: Fast reload (note the magazine will be thrown on the ground)
- press TAB: show inventory
- Press Y: Voice menu: / Communication with SCAV Bots
- Quickly press Y twice: communication menu
- Press G: throw grenade
- Press B: Change the weapon’s fire mode
- press T: Switch flashlight / laser point on/off
- Press F: Use action / pick up items
- Caps Lock: Fast switch from sprint/sneak mode
- Mouse wheel spin + W: Change running speed
- Press C: Crouch down
- Press C + turn mouse wheel: Change squat height
- Press X: lying down
- Press SHIFT + W: Turn on sprint mode
- press L: Look at weapon (To recognize the set fire mode)
- Press CTRL + T: Switch from lamp to laser
- Press SHIFT + T: Check chamber of weapon
- ALT + T: Magazine check
- CTRL + right mouse button: toggle sights
- ALT + right mouse button: Change red punk
- Press ALT + L: Fold in the buttstock on the weapon (Saiga, AK-74u, TOZ)
- Press DEL in inventory: Faster dropping/discarding items with hover over menu
If you want to sell your loot quickly in the menu at the dealer without always dragging it into the window for sale, you should press the items there while holding down the CTRL key. It ends up being sold immediately without having to drag it around.
The shortcut bar can be used for medi kits or bandages. For this, the objects must be in the bag or in the rig. Then simply drag your item down to the respective number in the inventory as you wish.
