Every year in February, the smartphone industry meets at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. Manufacturers outdo each other with superlatives and try to emphasize the uniqueness of their products.
HMD Global, which sells its smartphones under the Nokia brand, relies on the camera: Five lenses with different focal lengths should inspire amateur photographers for the Nokia 9 Pure View. The photos are saved as raw files and can be edited on the smartphone.
The first tests have to show whether five sensors increase the quality of the recordings: There are smartphones that take better photos with one camera than others with three. The camera phone is to come onto the market in March for 650 euros, the shower head optics are free of charge.
