Sharon Osbourne has criticized “bullies” for targeting her daughter Kelly Osbourne.

Following online comments about 41-year-old Kelly’s ultra-thin appearance in the months after the death of her father Ozzy Osbourne, 76, former music manager Sharon, 73, spoke out during an appearance at Elton John’s Oscars party, where she was asked about Kelly’s response to online body shaming.

A reporter asked Sharon: “Are you so proud of Kelly for standing up for herself against the bullies?”

Sharon said: “Sure. Listen, people that give it out have to get it back… .”

Kelly has addressed repeated comments about her body in recent months, after appearing publicly following Ozzy’s death in July last year, two weeks after his farewell concert with Black Sabbath.

Kelly and Sharon attended the 2026 Brit Awards, where Kelly collected a posthumous Lifetime Achievement award on behalf of Ozzy.

During the same period, Kelly was subjected to negative commentary online about her appearance.

The comments came as Kelly appeared at several public events while grieving her father.

Kelly later addressed the criticism directly after the Brit Awards, responding to comments about her appearance.

She said: “There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something.
