Skytech Azure 3 with RTX 4060: Is It Worth It?

Just got my Skytech Gaming Azure 3 with the RTX 4060 a few days ago. I was mainly excited about the performance boost for gaming and creative work, but I’ve run into some issues. The system seems to run hot during extended gameplay, and I’ve noticed some stuttering in newer titles. I chose this setup because of the specs and positive reviews, but now I’m wondering if I should have gone for a different GPU or cooling solution.

Has anyone else experienced these problems? Should I consider upgrading the cooling system or am I missing something? Would love to hear real-world experiences or advice on whether this setup is reliable long-term.

I've had the Azure 3 with RTX 4060 for a month now. No overheating issues, but I did upgrade the stock fans for better airflow. Might help you.

Mike, did upgrading the cooling make a noticeable difference in performance or noise levels? I'm considering it myself.

I think the RTX 4060 is a solid card for this build. If you're getting stuttering, maybe it's a software issue or driver problem. Have you updated your drivers recently?

John, good point. Sometimes the latest drivers can cause issues if not stable. Try rolling back or clean installing them.

Heat can be normal with high-end GPUs during gaming. But if it's excessive, definitely check the airflow and maybe add additional fans or a better cooling setup.

I have the Azure 3 with RTX 4060 and haven’t experienced overheating. Maybe your case airflow isn't optimal?

Anna, do you have any tips for improving airflow in that case? I’m thinking of building my own setup.

I’ve seen some reviews mentioning that the RTX 4060 in some prebuilt setups runs hotter than expected. Might be a manufacturing variance.

James, interesting. If it’s a common issue, Skytech might need to address cooling or BIOS updates.

Should I consider replacing the thermal paste or is that too complicated for a prebuilt? My system also runs a bit warm.

Tom, replacing thermal paste can help if you’re comfortable opening the case. Otherwise, professional cooling upgrades might be better.

I’d recommend monitoring your GPU temps with software like HWMonitor. If temps are above 85°C, cooling definitely needs attention.

Ben, do you think the RTX 4060 is worth it in this prebuilt, given these potential cooling issues? Or should I wait for a better model?
