Strikes on the subway set to affect all lines – more details released

Rounds of strike action are set to “affect all Tube lines”, says TfL.

The RMT union previously announced strike action on the London Underground over the introduction of a compressed four-day working week for Tube drivers.

London Underground services will be affected on Tuesday, March 24 to Wednesday, March 25; Thursday, March 26 to Friday, March 27; Tuesday, April 21 to Wednesday, April 22; Thursday, April 23 to Friday, April 24; Tuesday, May 19 to Wednesday, May 20; and Thursday, May 21 to Friday, May 22.

Transport for London (TfL) expects the disruption will not be as severe as the tube strikes of September 2025.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, normal service will run until 11:59, with severe disruption from 12:00 (midday) continuing through the following day.

On Wednesdays and Fridays, there will be severe disruption until 11:59, with continued disruption after 12:00 (midday) through the afternoon and evening as services return to normal.

On the Elizabeth line, DLR, London Overground, buses and tram services, TfL expects operations to continue as normal, but advises passengers to plan ahead.

Services are likely to be extremely busy.

Transport for London said: “We expect that across the network as a whole, the impact of these strikes will be less than the Tube strikes in September 2025.”

Passengers are advised to plan ahead.
