Testing Cooler Master NR2 Pro with an Intel Ultra 7 & RTX 5080
I recently bought the Cooler Master NR2 Pro to upgrade my build with an Intel Ultra 7 and the new RTX 5080. The case looks great, but I’m worried about fitting everything comfortably and keeping temps under control. Has anyone tried this combo? Should I get this case or look for something else? I want good airflow and easy installation, but I’m unsure if the NR2 Pro can handle the high-end parts without thermal issues.

I have the NR2 Pro with a high-end CPU and GPU, and temps are fine, but I upgraded the fans to aftermarket ones for better airflow.

Mike, Did you notice any increase in noise after upgrading the fans? I want a quiet build.

How easy was the installation of the RTX 5080 in this case? I heard some cards are quite long and tricky to fit.

The NR2 Pro has good space, but make sure your airflow setup is optimal. I’d suggest a front-to-back airflow pattern.

I’ve used this case with an i9 and RTX 4090, and temps stayed within safe limits. The NR2 Pro is quite versatile.

Chris, How was the cable management? Did you find it easy to tidy up everything?

I’m worried about fitting the Ultra 7 in this case. It’s quite tall and bulky. Did you have to do any modifications?

James, I have the Ultra 7 with a different case, but from what I’ve read, you might need to remove some brackets or use a different mounting option.

I think the NR2 Pro is good for high-end builds, but always double-check your specific GPU length and clearance before buying.

Ben, Do you think the airflow is enough for overclocked setups or should I add extra fans?

I ran a similar setup and can confirm temps are fine, but I also upgraded my case fans for better cooling.

Ryan, What fan model did you get? I want something quiet but effective.

Overall, I think the NR2 Pro is a solid choice. Just plan your airflow and check component dimensions carefully before installation.
I've used the NR2 Pro with similar hardware, and it was pretty good. Make sure you have enough case fans for optimal airflow.
John, Did you experience any thermal throttling or noise issues during heavy loads? I’m considering this case as well.
