Thinking of the TECKNET RGB Keyboard with Volume Knob
I recently bought the TECKNET RGB backlit keyboard with the volume knob, but I’m running into some issues. The lighting seems inconsistent, and the volume knob sometimes doesn’t respond quickly. I’m also wondering if the RGB effects are customizable enough for my setup. Should I keep it or look for something else? Any tips?

I've used it for gaming. The volume knob is smooth but a little small for my liking. What kind of issues are you facing with responsiveness?

John, I find that sometimes the volume knob doesn't register turning quickly. It’s a bit frustrating during quick adjustments.

I've had no issues with the volume knob. Maybe it's a connection problem or a firmware glitch? Did you try reconnecting or resetting it?

The RGB effects are customizable through their software, but it's not the most intuitive. Anyone know if there's a way to save profiles?

Emily, I think you can save profiles if you install their software, but it’s a bit clunky. Best to check for firmware updates first.

Is the keyboard compatible with Mac? I mainly use a MacBook, but I like the look of this keyboard.

Rachel, I believe it’s primarily designed for Windows, but you can probably get basic functionality on Mac. The RGB controls might be limited.

My main concern is durability. Has anyone experienced keys or the volume knob breaking after extended use?

Lisa, I’ve used mine daily for 6 months, and everything still works fine. The keys are a bit loud, though.

Do you think the volume knob is worth it compared to regular buttons? I prefer tactile feedback.

Chris, I like the knob because it’s smooth and allows precise volume control, but if you prefer tactile feedback, regular buttons might be better.

Anyone experienced issues with the backlighting turning off randomly? That’s my biggest annoyance.

Kevin, I had that happen once, and reinstalling the software fixed it. Otherwise, updating the firmware helped.

Would you recommend this keyboard for someone who wants good RGB and a volume knob, or are there better options around the same price?
.png)
James, I think it’s a decent choice if you want the volume knob, but for RGB, there are other models with more advanced lighting.

I just got mine and love the look, but I wish the keys were quieter. Anyone know if adding O-rings helps?
.png)
Brian, O-rings can help reduce noise, but they might also affect key travel. Worth trying if noise is your main issue.

Overall, do you think the TECKNET RGB keyboard with volume knob is a good buy? I’m considering it but want honest opinions.

George, I’d say it’s worth it if you want a budget-friendly keyboard with customizable RGB and a volume knob. Just be prepared for occasional bugs.
I've had that keyboard for a month. The RGB customization is pretty decent, but the lighting can sometimes be buggy. Did you update the firmware? That helped me.
Alice, thanks! I haven't updated it yet. Do you think that will fix the inconsistency? Also, how's the build quality?
Bob, yes, firmware update improved the lighting stability. The build feels solid, especially for the price, but the keys are a bit loud.
